Proudly Serving Ornamental Horticulture

The green industry is in the enviable business of enhancing the natural world.
The greenhouse, nursery, landscape and garden/gift retail industry is made up of thousands of small family businesses that grow, retail, install and care for plants and landscapes. As community-based businesses, owners and principals are deeply involved in their communities as employers, taxpayers and leaders.
According to the USDA’S Economic Research Service, the nursery and greenhouse industry is the fastest-growing segment of U.S. agriculture.

Nursery and greenhouse crops represent the third most important sector in U.S. crop agriculture, ranking seventh among all commodities in cash receipts and among the highest in net farm income.
Nursery and greenhouse crops are among the top five commodities in 27 states, and among the top 10 commodities in 42 states.
The nursery and landscape industry employs more than 600,000 workers during peak seasons.
Today the industry finds itself squarely in the middle of the sustainability movement. Growers, retailers and landscape professionals are working to find progressive ways to conserve and maximize our natural resources.
