	March 25, 2008 Riddle me this... Find an English word that is singular, add an "s" and it becomes plural, and add another "s" it becomes singular again. (Scroll down for the answer.) Trends: Another hot product Put her here, pal... I must be popular. Otherwise, how do explain the fact that I receive dozens of missives a week from people I've never met? Never mind that a lion's share of said correspondence focuses not on my well being or on the well being of the sender. The gist of the e-mails I receive is almost always the potential financial boon associated with the latest revolutionary product — are all products revolutionary? — and how my readers will be well-served to learn more about it. Still, there must be some reason these folks turn to me to do their bidding. I would suggest that it's my uncanny resemblance to Tom Cruise or my rapier wit — are all wits rapier? — or my steadfast desire to further the cause of gardening. Or, it could be the job I hold. Whatever, I would urge you to keep those virtual cards and letters coming, lest I miss out on news we all could use. For example, earlier this week, I got a note that began, "Gardeners meet your new best friend!" And, by golly, this note writer might be right. The budding buddy is called The Gardener's Pouch, and it's a (I kid you not, it said this) "revolutionary" pouch that makes routine gardening tasks much easier. With The Gardener's Pouch, there's no more dragging the trash can around or leaving messy piles to pick up. With its ergonomic waist band system, the pouch can be moved to any position around the waist, and the front unzips for easy emptying. And... you get all that for a suggested retail price of $29.99. The Gardener's Pouch might also be faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive and able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, but the e-mail ended after the $29.99 part, so to attach any other attributes would be pure speculation. Suffice it to say that this is a product worth writing about.
