	August 19, 2008 Riddle me this... Two men were playing tennis. They played five sets and each man won three sets. How can this be possible? (Scroll down for the answer.) Trends: Organic foods Eat more chikin... The lovely Mrs. Y doesn’t dare let me do the grocery shopping sans a list. She knows that I will return from the local Piggly Wiggly with stuff I like to eat, which is another way to say stuff that is by-and-large bad for you. Actually, I’m better now than I was in college, where I subsisted primarily on Spaghetti O’s, Beanie Weenies, potted meat, uncooked cake batter, and Dr Pepper. Oh, yeah. I also have always had a weakness for sweets, which probably explains why this month I’m celebrating the two-year anniversary of my awakening from a coma after undergoing emergency dental surgery for an abscessed tooth that darned near did me in. You would think that the subsequent lesson learned would be enough to persuade me that some foods are to be forsaken. And you would be mostly right... Except that it’s just oh, so hard to ignore the fact that those that aren’t just don’t taste very good. Enter a new Web site that deals with making even the good-for-you foods tasty, NaturallySavvy.com. It might be just the resource for those of you who are going green at your store. Think about it: You’re already convincing John Q. Public and the lovely Mrs. P that they need to feed their lawns a healthy diet; why not expand the convincing to cover their own palates? I have to wonder, though: do you think there’s an organic recipe for uncooked cake batter, preferably in chocolate? Speaking of cooking up goodies, we’re just weeks from "serving up" Garden Center Product Source, the "next generation" version of our product-based, buyer-based magazine formerly known as Garden Center Products & Supplies.
