ANLA, PLANET merger a no-go
Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) and ANLA decided not to proceed with a merger. PLANET was formed in 2004 with the merger of Professional Lawn Care Assoc. of America and Associated Landscape Contractors of America. Gibson said PLANET's board of directors is focusing on alignments that are still being solidified from the 2004 merger. ANLA president Buzz Bertolero said the organizations plan to continue working together and will re-examine the possibility of a merger in the future.
