The nursery business is full of excitement -- so much so that we think it’s worthy of its own action/adventure serial. This year NMPRO is proud to present “The Great Nursery Adventure: A Year in the Life of Greene Family Nursery.”

Throughout 2007, you’ll be able to follow this fictional family business as it goes through some tremendous challenges. If you think your nursery has problems, wait until you see what we put the Greenes through.

Each month our adventure will have a cliffhanger ending, then we’ll turn to our panel of experts. We’ve picked panelists with diverse backgrounds at family nursery businesses. These brave volunteers will lend their advice to the Greenes based on their own experiences, and they won’t be afraid to be blunt.

But the ultimate fate of the Greenes lies in the hands of NMPRO readers. Prior to the climactic December issue, you’ll have a chance to vote whether the family should keep the business alive or sell out.

We’ll give you more details as the year goes on. Until then, enjoy the adventure, and I hope your year is less tumultuous than the Greenes’.

To catch up with Greenes' most recent adventures, select from the links under "The Adventure So Far..." on the left of this page.
