"How's our progress on getting those houses covered?" Dan asked.

"Not good. I have every available person working on it. I even have the ladies from propagation nailing down poly. And you can tell they're not happy about it. I think they'd rather be sticking cuttings," Joe said.

"Will we get it all done before the front hits?" Dan asked.

"Not even close. At the pace they're going, we'll be lucky if we get half of the houses covered," Joe said. "The wind sure isn't helping, and the weatherman said that's not going to change anytime soon. If the gusts get any stronger, we're going to have crews flying away on poly parachutes."
