Look at a nursery and what do you see? Crops growing in the field, tractors moving plants, irrigation systems running, canning machines whirring.

At NMPRO we see how all these systems interact, making the nursery a living, breathing organism. If one of the systems breaks down, the organism perishes.

That’s why we’re happy to give birth to the first installment of Anatomy of a Nursery: A Look Into the Heart of Production.

With this 12-month event, we plan to present nursery growers useful information in a visual format they can digest. Illustrations will provide growers information on how to improving their facilities. We’ll highlight the latest technologies and present information vital to increasing efficiency.

Growers will understand how all the pieces fit together, and how small changes can lead to big improvements.

Check out the list of topics we’ll cover in 2006, and come back month after month. With the information you garner, all it takes is a little brains and muscle to implement new ideas.

Here’s to the health of your nursery.
