Acadia

Acadia is a floribunda released by Novalis Inc. Large, bronze flowers cover this compact plant from late spring to first frost. It grows 16-24 inches high and has dark-green, glossy foliage.

It can be budded or grown on its own roots, and it prefers full sun and amended soils. It has good to excellent disease resistance and can be planted singly or in masses.

Blushing Knock Out

Blushing Knock Out ('Radyod') is a rounded shrub variety that Conard-Pyle Co. claims is totally resistant to blackspot. It produces single, 3- to 3 1/2-inch, light-pink flowers continuously from June to heavy frost. Flowers are self-cleaning, and their color may be lighter during high summer temperatures.

Blushing Knock Out is cold hardy in Zones 4-9 and withstands AHS Zones 2-9. Its growth rate is medium-fast, and the plant reaches 3-3 1/2 feet high and wide. Foliage is glaucous and bluish green, and the plant's growth habit is slightly more open than the original Knock Out.

Pink Knock Out

Pink Knock Out ('Radcon') continuously produces 3- to 3 1/2-inch single, medium-pink flowers from June to heavy frost. Conard-Pyle Co. says this variety is also completely resistant to blackspot.

It's a rounded, bushy shrub rose that reaches 3-3 1/2 feet high and wide. It's cold hardy in Zones 4-9 and withstands AHS Zones 2-9. Foliage is deep mossy-green with bluish hues. It prefers well-drained soils and full sun.
