Plant Development Services Inc. (PDSI) added five new azaleas to its Encore series. All are patented, multiseason bloomers and are hardy to Zones 7-9.
Autumn Angel
Autumn Angel has large, pure-white flowers and a dense growth habit. Plants grow 4 feet tall and 4 1/2 feet wide.
Autumn Debutante
Autumn Debutante has large, soft-baby-pink flowers and a mounding growth habit. It grows 4 feet tall by 4 1/2 feet wide.
Autumn Starlight
Autumn Starlite has white flowers with soft-pink speckles and it grows 4 1/2 feet tall and wide.
Autumn Sunset
Autumn Sunset has bright, electric-orange flowers and a mounding habit. It grows 4 1/2 feet tall and 4 feet wide.
Autumn Sweetheart
Autumn Sweetheart has flowers in varying shades of pink and a dense, upright habit. It grows 4-5 feet tall and 4-4 1/2 feet wide.
