Grand Bleu

Caryopteris x clandonensis Grand Bleu ('Innoveris') from Conard-Pyle Co. is a patented, compact, early-flowering variety. It has a rounded form, glossy foliage and dark-blue flowers.

It's selected from 'Heavenly Blue' but with more dense growth and deeper-blue flowers. It grows just 3 feet high and wide, about half the size of 'Heavenly Blue.' It grows best in well-drained soils and full sun and should be pruned back in winter.

It's cold hardy to Zones 5-9 and withstands AHS Plant Heat-Zones 2-9.
