Echinacea x Orange Meadowbrite ('Art's Pride'), a trademarked cultivar from Chicagoland Grows Inc., is the first orange coneflower to hit the U.S. market. It's a controlled cross from several Echinacea species, done by Jim Ault at the Chicago Botanic Garden.

Blood-orange flowers emerge above deep-green foliage. Plants are vigorous, free-flowering, drought tolerant and have a sweet orange-tea fragrance. It performs best in full sun and well-drained, moist soils.
