Pros

* Attractive packaging raises the perceived value of the product.

* Growers promote their own brand names and differentiate their products.

* Printed pots can be tied into larger promotions that benefit from national advertising.

Cons

* Printing adds expense to container purchases.

* Containers might not be compatible with growers' existing automated systems.

* Growers take a risk when buying pots printed with retailer-specific information. What if the customer backs out of the deal?
